Malaysian king urges leaders to avoid ‘extreme views’, calls for unity ahead of Christmas amid row over ‘Allah’ socks

He didn’t specify whether he would end calls for a boycott.

The authorities accused the owners of KK Mart of wrongdoing.

They are also investigating local shoe retailer Vern’s Holding Sdn. following a separate incident where the emblem on some soles allegedly resembled the word “Allah” in Arabic script.
