Philippines with Asia’s first Disney app It means quite a bit!

Globe Telecom and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia have just launched an all-in-one Disney content app on the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City, bringing The Philippines is the pilot facility in Asia and only the second on the planet, after the UK.

The “DisneyLife: Disney World in One App” app was launched on May 25 and includes over 350 Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars movies, over 5,000 kid’s TV episodes and over 6,000 pieces of music.

For a monthly subscription of P149, Disney fans within the Philippines can access a big range of downloadable entertainment options in order that they can enjoy them anytime, even after they are offline.

“The Filipino consumer is a highly digital consumer and highly engaged on social media,” said The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia vice chairman and managing director Mahesh Samat to elucidate why they selected to debut the app in Asia through the Philippines.
