Punctuality is a pleasant thing to have in an airline. Late flights are definitely one of the vital annoying parts of traveling. So knowing which airlines will get you where you should go on the promised time is not any small thing.
OAG has just published its December 2018 On-Time Performance (OTP) report and we only chosen airlines with over 10,000 flights within the Asia-Pacific region.
Indonesia’s flag carrier Garuda Indonesia ranked first when it comes to on-time performance (OTP) amongst global airlines within the Asia-Pacific region from October to December 2018, based on UK-based air travel analytics firm OAG.
OAG reported that in December, Garuda recorded an OTP arrival rate of 89.9% with greater than 15,000 flights. From September to November, Garuda was also in top five amongst global airlines operating over 10,000 flights, based on The Jakarta Post.
