It’s been a busy month for Singapore Airlines. An Asian airline has launched the longest flight on the earthwith route z Newark – Singapore and tomorrow begins direct service between Los Angeles and Singapore.
However, today the carrier announced that from September 3, 2019, it would begin flights on a very latest route between Seattle and Singapore. Seattle will change into Singapore Airlines’ sixth U.S. destination, following Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, New York JFK and San Francisco.
Flights between the 2 cities will initially operate 3 times every week, increasing to 4 times every week in October 2019. The flight schedule will probably be as follows, subject to regulatory approval.
Singapore Airlines flight SQ27 will depart Seattle at 10:40 a.m. Pacific time on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive in Singapore at 5:30 p.m. local time the next day.
Singapore Airlines flight SQ28 will depart Singapore at 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive in Seattle at 9:05 a.m. local time on the identical day. From October, flights in each directions can even be operated on Sundays.
“Our new nonstop flights to Seattle are further evidence of our commitment to expanding our business in the important US market and increasing the reach of our network,” said Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong.
“The new services will further strengthen the Singapore hub, providing customers with faster and more convenient connectivity from key markets such as Southeast Asia, South Asia and Australasia to North America.”
