Garuda Indonesia has been recognized as a Most Improved Airline by AirlineRankings.com, an independent aircraft safety and product rankings website, for its service and safety improvements.
AirlineRankings.com seems to have taken notice of the improvements the national flag carrier has remodeled the past five years. Garuda also refurbished its aircraft and was authorized to fly to Europe and the United States.
Garuda’s vice chairman of corporate communications, Benny S. Butarbutar, said the award “reaffirms Garuda’s hard work and process to improve its service to passengers. In fact, in the future, this award will be a challenge that will have to be overcome with more innovations that will add value to Garuda Indonesia.”
