- Takut: Faces of fear
Scared is an Indonesian horror anthology that was released in 2008. Brian Yuzna, the internationally recognized master of independent horror movies and certainly one of the leading figures of Spain’s unexpected B-movie renaissance, has decided to establish shop in Indonesia.
This is a compilation of short movies with Lukman Sardi, Eva Celia and Fauzi Badilla that were broadcast on the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2009.
- Dara’s House (Macabre)

House of the Virgintitle modified to Macabre for release in English, got here out with Takut: Faces of fear. The film was completely remade and starred Shareefa Daanish and Julie Estelle. The film was shown on the 2009 Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) in South Korea, where Shareefa won the Best Actress award.
The film is a couple of group of individuals driving to the airport after they meet a good looking woman named Maya on the way in which. The plot takes place when a bunch of travelers attempt to escape from a house belonging to a mysterious woman named Dara and her family. The group is attacked with several varieties of weapons. - Forbidden Door (Forbidden Door)

Forbidden Door is a 2009 Indonesian horror film directed by Joko Anwar. It relies on a novel Forbidden Door, written by Sekar Ayu Asmara. A preview of the plot of this film, during which Gambir’s life as a successful sculptor is turned the wrong way up when he begins to receive mysterious messages from someone asking for his help.
The film just isn’t well-known in Indonesia, but local director Joko Anwar’s cult film successfully toured international film festivals in 2009, including PiFan, Bangkok International Film Festival and Rotterdam International Film Festival. Movie stars Fachri Albar, Marsha Timothy and Ario Bayu were included within the magazine’s “100 best movies on the earth” listSight and sound.
- Anomaly mode

The film is a couple of man who spent his vacation along with his family in a house within the forest. Then they were surprised by the arrival of a wierd guest and murders happening all over the place. The strangeness continued until he began finding some alarm clocks. Suddenly he must race against time if he desires to be reunited along with his family.
Another critically acclaimed film by Joko Anwar, Anomaly modestarring Rio Dewanto and Hannah Rasyid. The film screened on the 2012 SXSW Austin Film Festival in Texas and won the Bucheon Award from the South Korean Network of Asian Fantasy Films (NAFF).
- Kala

Kala or also referred to as Mystery is a 2007 Indonesian film noir thriller. This was the second feature film for Joko, who previously directed the 2005 comedy film Joni’s promise.
Joko Anwar is among the finest horror directors in Indonesia. Another of his movies that aroused great interest is Kala. The major roles were played by Fachri Albar, Shanty, Fahrani and Ario Bayu. The film was featured at PiFan 2007, the 2007 Hong Kong Asian Film Festival, the 2008 Osian Cinefan, the 2007 Bangkok International Film Festival and the 2008 Vancouver International Film Festival. The film also received the Jury Prize for the Festival Film in New York in Asia in 2007.
