But it is just not every little thing.
The website Wanderluxe wrote in regards to the romance that developed between the 2 male casts: Henry and Harry.
Along with their two gorgeous wives, the couple recently took a break in Bali, where they checked into several villas nearby Luxury Nomad, I took amazing photos and experienced all of the magic of the island. WanderLuxe caught up with Harry and Henry to recall their favorite Bali memories.
WanderLuxe: After shooting Crazy Rich Asians, it was sort of a vacation to treat yourself to. What made you select Bali?
Henry: Bali is one among those places where you possibly can just come back and it’s all there; infrastructure, culture, art, beautiful villas. My wife Liv and I am going there quite actually because we all know that after we arrive it should be like an quick vacation. Harry: In my opinion, everyone I do know who has been to Bali – like Henry – has said it’s one of the crucial amazing, spiritual and relaxing places they’ve ever been to. So when my wife Shelby and I had the chance, we just needed to go. Next thing you realize, we’ve all our bags packed.
WanderLuxe: Speaking of packed bags, any packing suggestions for the island?
Loot: Don’t take plenty of luggage with you. A backpack or bag is sufficient to pack light, and in warm weather you actually don’t need that much.
Henry: But remember to take bug spray with you!
WanderLuxe: What is it prefer to calm down and travel together after spending a lot time together?
Henry: Traveling with Harry and Shelby is great, they’re really open to trying recent things and it worked out great this time as we saw some recent temples, explored the coast, spent plenty of time in our villas – it was a bit like exploring Bali with fresh eyes.
Loot: Henry knew the language, he knew the place, he knew the culture… we felt like locals. And you realize the way you appear to run into other friends you didn’t even know were there? Even in Bali we had 4 other friends who ended up meeting us.
WanderLuxe: Judging by your Instagram accounts, you might be each very concerned about photography.
Henry: Harry and I are gadget nerds, so it’s nice to have someone equally interested and patient with photography – we did not have our cameras turned off for a lot of the day. He even took a drone with him!
Loot: Oh yes, we’ve some great sunset photos at Tanah Lot. We were playing around more often than not.
Henry: Bali is the sort of place where you possibly can walk down the road and find something picturesque.
WanderLuxe: Now that you’ve got experienced #thatvillalife at Villa Eden and Ombak Luwung Beachfront Estate, what do you’re thinking that?
Loot: Each villa was unique. I liked that we were capable of stay in several parts of Bali and every had a special vibe and scene. Once we checked into the hotel, the trip began off great Villa Eden, which was such a beautiful villa and exactly what you might be searching for in a Seminyak villa. Looking for a cool, relaxing place near all of the coffee shops on the town.
Henry: For me, Luwung Waves he was stunning. These areas were phenomenal. Just having separate villas for every couple was good, there’s a lot privacy. You can hear the ocean, the staff was very polite, it was like a dream place.
Loot: Shelby and I finished our trip at Willa’s challenge AND Ungasan Cliff Resort. My favorite part was the incontrovertible fact that I got to go to a small cliff town in the course of nowhere, principally surrounded by rice fields at Villa Tantangan after which The Ungasan, which was like having your individual resort.
WanderLuxe: Bali is among the finest places to eat. What places or dishes would you recommend?
Henry: La Laguna is my primary place. It lies on the border of Seminyak and Canggu. It’s so chilly and there aren’t many tourists around… I hate the sort of pumping crowds that many pool bars have. Then there’s Shaddy Shack in Canggu where you possibly can eat really good vegan food! The cafe overlooks the rice cakes so it’s just beautiful. We often went there after yoga. We also went to Marias Pizzeria repeatedly. The food there’s improbable, I could not recommend it more highly.
Loot: Fried rice was my favorite dish, hands down I ate it almost on daily basis. I liked it too gado gado AND mixed rice. The noodles and rice just felt just like the food was so satisfying that it was prepared with love and Balinese culture. This is an example of what it means to really make food with love.
WanderLuxe: You have quite a bit to experience in Bali, Henry, who has been to the island repeatedly, and Harry with Henry as a guide. What are your must-see places?
Loot: Tanah Lot was simply breathtaking; views, history and culture. The natural sky was especially gorgeous. Every photo you are taking is usually a perfect photo. The temples were truly one among the highlights for me.
Henry: We went to Pura Tirtha Empur, a water temple near the rice terraces, which was amazing. It was our first time there and it was magical. You sort of see the rise of the water source from stories and folklore. It’s great to go along with locals who can let you know stories. But we actually liked it there.
