So what exactly can we expect from the 2019 MotoGP season, ahead of the VisitQatar Grand Prix?

The usual suspects will likely be seeking to get back to the highest, with Marc Marquez once more aiming for history, but will definitely face stiff competition from his rivals. One such rival is Jorge Lorenzo, from whom a lot is now expected that he’ll ride for the Honda team.

Ducati will depend on the experience of veteran racer Andrea Dovizioso, while Yamaha will once more turn to Valentino Rossi to deliver the products when the legend returns for an additional MotoGP season. Rossi was fastest in the primary free practice in Qatar but dropped significantly towards the top, so it would be interesting to see how ‘The Doctor’ performs in his first full race of the season.

There is lots to look ahead to in 2019, and the MotoGP campaign is able to enter our lives very soon.
