The long-awaited first location in Manhattan Jollibee will finally open this month. The Filipino chain known for its fried chicken plans to open a Midtown location near Times Square, at 609 Eighth Ave., between West thirty ninth and West fortieth streets, on Saturday, October 27.
Business announced this location over two years ago, and if it’s anything like other debuts, fans can be lining up for the opening. The first 40 people to enter the shop will receive free Chickenjoy – fried chicken with sauce and rice – for a yr. There may even be collectors’ items.
