Indonesia has won the World’s Best Travel Destination award for 2 years in a row Based in London Diving magazine.
Siladen Resort and Spa in Bunaken National Park in North Sulawesi was also named a top dive center and resort by the publication.
Since the primary vote in May, a complete of 13,845 votes have been collected, with a whole lot of nominated places and apartments placing in the highest 25 in each category.
Online voters were presented with three categories: best destination, dive center or resort, and boat on board. The second voting period was conducted in October and lasted one full month.
In one of the best travel destination category, Indonesia received essentially the most votes – 1,067, or 11.45 percent of the full variety of 9,399 votes solid.
In second place was the Philippines with 749 votes, or 7.97 percent, followed by the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal within the Mid-Atlantic region, with 576 votes, or 6.13 percent.
