Boracay has been named the perfect island on the earth for the second 12 months in a row.

The idyllic island, famous for its crystal blue water and powdery white sand, has once more taken the highest spot Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for 2017, it was revealed this week.
The magazine described Boracay as a “small island” that’s one of the popular tourist destinations in Asia because of its “gentle coastline”, “drive-in sunsets” and “thriving nightlife”.
This is the second time in as a few years that Boracay has been voted the perfect island by Conde Nast readers.
In 2015 it was fifteenth place, and in 2014 it was twelfth place.
This 12 months, it ended over other Philippine islands, namely Cebu and Palawan, making it a trifecta for the country.
All three edged out a number of the hottest destinations on this 12 months’s awards. Spain’s Majorca was in fourth place, and Greece’s Mykonos was in the highest five.
According to Conde Nast Traveler, over 300,000 readers took part on this 12 months’s survey.
