Jakarta International Airport debuts a brand new terminal with biometric border control

The Vision-Box the state-of-the-art biometric border control solution consists of i-match 32 vb automatic border control e-gates for eligible Indonesian residents for self-service border clearance and 10 vb e-pass portable biometric suitcases for greater mobility during passenger check-in. Additionally, it comprises 32 individual fingerprint and passport scanners that speed up the service of foreign travelers at manual stations. An integrated automated border control solution ensures greater accuracy in verifying passenger identity on the border, while increasing airport security and passenger processing capability.
