The Biggest Billionaires in Southeast Asia within the Forbes Billionaires Top 2018 Ranking

The gap between the truly wealthy and the merely wealthy continues to widen, and their fortunes are reaching unprecedented heights.

A record 2,208 billionaires made it into Forbes’ thirty second annual rating of the world’s billionaires. They are price a record $9.1 trillion combined, up 18% from a yr ago.

The wealth of the 20 richest people on the planet is a staggering $1.2 trillion, an amount roughly equal to the annual economic output of Mexico.

Together they make up lower than 1% of all billionaires, but their wealth accounts for 13% of the entire wealth of all billionaires on the planet.
