Phu Quoc Island, the most important island in Vietnam, has been given the celebrated distinction of being the second most beautiful island on the earth, surpassing such famous islands as Bali and Koh Samui. The award was given by the American magazine Travel+Leisure as a part of the World’s Best Awards 2024.
Travel + Leisure conducts an annual survey to seek out probably the most stunning travel destinations on the earth. The survey covers various categories corresponding to hotels, resorts, cities, islands and airlines, with the aim of identifying the perfect in each category.
