Brunei leads the Asia-Pacific region in having a high proportion of female graduates in science, technology, engineering and arithmetic. Almost half of graduates are women, compared with just 32 percent within the U.S., in keeping with report published this week by Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. The country of 417,200 people had fewer male than female students in higher education in 2015, with the ratio being 67 per 100 female students, in keeping with data from the country Key Indicators annual report.
