All Garuda Indonesia international flights shall be operated from Terminal 3. Coming soon

National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia will start full operations at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten in April.

As kompas.com reported on Monday, the newly built Terminal 3 currently handles only domestic flights, while international flights are still operated from Terminal 2.

Muhammad Awaluddin, director of state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II, said Garuda’s international flights can be moved to Terminal 3 from April, and can be transferred to other SkyTeam airlines in May.

A goal was also set for all international airlines to maneuver to Terminal 3 in August.

Terminal 3 opened last 12 months but will not be yet fully operational as not all parts of the constructing have been developed yet.

Terminal 3 is a component of the Soekarno-Hatta revitalization program. The Grand Design Soekarno-Hatta Airport program goals to extend the airport’s capability by opening Terminal 3, in addition to revitalizing Terminals 1 and a pair of.
