Indonesia was recently awarded the distinguished title on the World Travel Awards Leading in Asia Adventure tourism destinationThe awards ceremony was held in Manila, Philippines on September 3, 2024.
In this category, Indonesia was not the one candidate. Other candidates for Asia’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination included Thailand, India, Japan, Malaysia, China, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
In the past, this title has also been awarded to countries equivalent to Thailand, Sri Lanka and Japan.
