Walk around AirAsia, there is a latest low-cost airline on the town.
Introducing the most effective low-cost airline in Asia Pacific: Scoot.
On September 27, the eight-year-old low-cost carrier dethroned the reigning champion Malaysian on the annual TTG Travel Awards.
According to The Straits Times, between 2011 and 2018, AirAsia won seven out of eight victories reports.
If you’re a Malaysian and love your airline, you is perhaps furious. In fact, it is best to, because Singapore Airlines, Scoot’s parent company, was awarded best full-service carrier.
The airlines were awarded based on the votes of tourism industry players and TTG readers.
We’re pretty sure the great people at Scoot are comfortable. I mean, it must be because they experienced major flight disruptions that began in November 2018 and lasted until February 2019.
They were technical problems which affected hundreds of travelers. Scoot boss Lee Lik Hsin needed to apologize for the unexpected circumstances.
Now the main target is on improving the client experience. Especially in relation to traveling.
Several changes have been made, including the removal of payment processing fees for passengers booking tickets online and migrating from Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. The airline can also be preparing to launch flights to nine destinations.
“The Scoot team is grateful and heartened to receive this award. We will proceed to give attention to exceeding our customers’ expectations every single day, at the same time as we expand globally,” Lee he said.
