The “least secure” countries are those with the bottom total scores “per 100,000 inhabitants”, while the “safest” are those with larger totals. Look down the list until Malaysia is at number 18.
According to The Swiftest, Malaysia receives a grade of “B-” for “homicide deaths” and a grade of “22.5” or “F” for “road traffic fatalities” respectively. Meanwhile, other Southeast Asian countries report higher factor scores.
Consider Indonesia, which scored 7.1 on the “Death from Poor Hygiene” scale. With a rating of 30.6 within the Road Accident Mortality category, Vietnam is simply one place above Cambodia, which receives a rating of 19.6 and a grade of “D-” for a similar criterion.
