Globalization has expanded a rustic’s presence beyond its physical borders, and the 2017 Best Countries rankings aim to grasp a nation’s value beyond hard metrics. The Best countries 2017 reports and rankings are based on how global perceptions define countries by way of a spread of qualitative characteristics and impressions which have the potential to drive trade, travel and investment and directly impact national economies. Eighty countries were measured within the report.
Some of the attributes needed to create the rating are: Adventure, Citizenship, Cultural Influence, Entrepreneurship, Heritage, Movers, Openness to Business, Strength and Quality of Life.
These thematic sub-rankings were created by grouping attributes of nations that had similar global trends in survey responses. The subranking scores for every country were determined by averaging the country’s scores on each of the attributes included within the subranking.
These countries, from Austria to Indonesia, performed best overall within the rankings. Seasia looks at the highest 40 and lists the perfect from Asia. Here’s the find:

Collectively, the 80 countries included within the report produce roughly 95 percent of the world’s gross domestic product and represent greater than 80 percent of the world’s population. They span the globe, covering Africa, Asia, Central America, Eurasia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, Oceania and South America.
