A driver dies after a Lamborghini crashes and bursts into flames on a highway in Malaysia

A person died when the posh Lamborghini he was driving caught fire on the Bentong-Karak highway within the Malaysian state of Pahang on Sunday.

Pahang Fire and Rescue Department deputy director of operations Ismail Abdul Ghani said they received a report of the incident at 9:06 a.m. (local time) on Sunday, Malay-language every day Sinar Harian reported.

According to him, eight people from the Bentong Fire and Rescue Station together with two vehicles were dispatched to the scene, about 26 km away.

“A Lamborghini caught fire, crashed and was 100% engulfed in flames.

“The adult male driver was trapped within the automobile, while the adult female passenger was extricated and brought to hospital by bystanders,” he said in an announcement on Sunday.

He testified that the fireplace extinguishing operation consisted of pouring water into the fireplace truck’s tank twice before the victim’s body was recovered from the wreckage.

He further explained that the Ministry of Health personnel who arrived on the scene confirmed the death of the trapped driver.

“The victim’s stays were then handed over to the police for further motion,” he added.
